MEGA Brands joined forces once again with the North Pole to help Sun Youth and the Generations Foundation, assisting them in their ongoing efforts to help families and children in need.

“I know I can always count on my friends at MEGA Brands to help me grant children’s wishes”, said Santa. “This year, I’ve recruited them yet again to join forces with my team of Elves to ensure that the children helped by both these organizations receive a gift at this special time of year.”

84 lucky kids were invited to visit Santa’s workshop at MEGA Brands. They learned how toys were made as they watched MEGA Brands’ elves during a tour of the factory. As their appetites grew, they sat down to eat lunch with Santa himself. With full bellies, everyone took their picture with Santa as they told him what presents they wanted to open on Christmas day. Little did they know it, Santa had a present ready for them today since every little girl and boy had been nice this year.

“Last year, the children that visited our workshop had stars in their eyes”, said Vic Bertrand, Chief Innovation Officer of MEGA Brands. “To be able to offer this type of joy to a child is the reason we come in to work each day”.

“The Generations Foundation and the children they serve are proud to participate in the Mega Brands Santa’s Workshop Day– a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most children!” adds Adrian Bercovici, Executive Director and co-founder of the Generations Foundation. “We give heartfelt thanks to the Mega Brands Family for their generosity and compassion”.

Sid Stevens, Executive Vice-President and cofounder of Sun Youth said “This partnership will allow us to make sure that 1,500 youngsters between the age of 6 and 12 will be able to have gifts under the Christmas tree, thanks to MEGA and Santa”.
