Today, I thought I’d update you all on Jayden’s Halloween costume. Was he a Pirate or Football Player?
Well…
Neither.
Greg ordered the Football Player costume and the retailer failed to let us know that it was out of stock. So I ordered the Pirate costume from another retailer who, eh, turned around and did the same thing! As a last resort, we ran over to Target where Jayden fell in love with a Spider-Man costume. He, like many other little boys, absolutely love wearing his costume around the house. And he looks so cute in it!
Friday afternoon, we went trick-or-treating down town. There were at least 15 other little Spider-Men! I expected this since every little boy wants to be a Superhero and all. I’d rather see Jayden happy in his Spider-Man costume than wanting to jump out of a costume that he may not have adored as much.
Jayden was so excited to see all of the children trick-or-treating who he referred to as his “friends”, hehe. He couldn’t wait to go home and dig into the candy. After three pieces, he was satisfied temporarily and proceeded to give me kisses in hopes that he’d get more candy. As sweet as those kisses were, I wasn’t falling for it! He had a big day ahead with his great grandmother who planned to take him to some Halloween festivities in her community.
Here we are together after trick-or-treating. Don’t tell us we’re not cute! Mommy Sorceress and Spidey Tot!
What Halloween festivities have you participated in this year? Oh, and have you had any less than stellar Halloween shopping experiences? o_O
Have a safe and happy Halloween!
