Mega Bloks has always been dedicated to creating play sets for toddlers that are safe, fun, and easy to clean up and store. Last year, we released the Play N Go Table,
which was a smash hit with reviewers and moms. Since then, we’ve been focused on developing our idea of a self-contained play set, and we’re proud to announce the result of those efforts: Mega Bloks tubs!
Mega Bloks tubs are a series of themed play sets with two major goals in mind: engaging and imaginative play for the child, and ease of cleaning and storage for the parents. When in use, the top of the tub acts as a play base for the build. When finished, the build can be kept in place and attached to the top of the tub for display, or the pieces can be dumped back into the tub and closed up for the day. Multiple tubs are designed to be stacked on top of each other just like our bloks are!
We’ve launched with five fun themes in three different sizes: the small-sized Construction Site and Princess Castle, the medium-sized Dragon Castle and Rescue Center, and the large-sized Farm. These themes work well as their own self-contained adventures, but by combining different parts of Mega Bloks tubs you can create eclectic and exciting worlds!
Something really unique that Mega Bloks has started with this line of toys is a new technique for labeling the tubs. The technique is called in-mold labeling, and it prevents the outer label from peeling off and becoming a hazard to others. It’s also pretty useful since you’ll always know which toys to put inside!
Both designed and manufactured right here in Montreal, our Mega Bloks tubs toys — like all of our Maxi Bloks — are safe for children as young as one year old. They’re also dishwasher safe, which will likely come in handy when your child is unwilling to leave their adventure for mealtime!
The Mega Bloks tubs are in stores now. Each set includes a wide array of bloks, stickers, and varieties of figures and vehicles that make playtime exciting and dynamic every day!
